On November 28, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, took part in Bishkek of the Kyrgyz Republic and spoke at the next summit of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The summit was attended by the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, distinguished Emomali Rahmon, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym Zhomart Tokayev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbai Jeenbekov and the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin.
The subjects of discussion at the next summit of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization were issues related to the situation in the region and the world, the main activities of the Organization to ensure the security and defense power of member countries, key areas of the development of the political situation in the world, strengthening the power of the CSTO, the growth of global and regional threats to security and the adoption of joint collective measures to combat them, the search for effective ways to combat international terrorism and extremism, political and religious ideology, drug and arms trafficking, cybercrime and other transnational crimes, as well as the worrying situation in Afghanistan.
The leader of the nation, esteemed President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon in his speech emphasized that in the modern world the number of threats to the security and stability of states has increased, including in the area of responsibility of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The head of state noted that given the current situation, the organization’s member states are required to strengthen integration in the fight against these undesirable phenomena of the century.
“Next year will mark the 75th anniversary of Victory in World War II, and to celebrate this important historical date, we need to take all measures within the framework of the CSTO,” the distinguished President Emomali Rahmon emphasized.
At the next summit of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, a Statement of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was adopted to strengthen integration and cooperation in the name of ensuring regional and international security, an action plan to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Victory in World War II 1941-1945 years, the Resolution on additional measures to reduce the tension on the border of Tajikistan and Afghanistan and other documents on strengthened th the political, military, military-economic integration of the CSTO member states, improving the legal and financial framework for the activities of the Organization.
The Heads of State also signed more than 15 relevant resolutions of the Collective Security Council on further integration in various directions.
The results of the next summit of the Collective Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization were summed up at a press conference with the participation of a wide range of media representatives.
