Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan

A representative of Tajikistan is taking part in the 38th International Anti-Drug Conference in Athens

Today in Athens, Greece, Director of the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Zafar Samad is taking part in the 38th International Conference on Combating Drugs (IDEC XXXVIII). This was reported to NIAT Khovar by the Drug Control Agency under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.

On the sidelines of the conference, the Agency’s Director met with Megan Otes, Program Director of the Department of Drug Control and Law Enforcement (INL) of the U.S. Department of State, and Kevin Scully, Bureau Adviser.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the Agency’s activities and the drug situation in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of combating and controlling synthetic substances.

The conference will last until September 26, attended by representatives of more than 100 countries and reputable international and regional organizations and departments.
